Lakme Lip Love Lip care Tinted Lip Balm Peach Review

Hi lovely Ladies and Gents !

Happy Republic Day to all of you !

How are you today ?

As you can see I am inspired by the Indian Tri-colour today and will review a saffron-y lip balm

The market is teeming with lip care products and today I am going to share my experience with the Lakme Lip Love Lip care  Tinted Lip Balm in the shade Peach for you .

Price- Rs 200/- for 3.8 gms ,the price is higher than other lip balms but they are also proving bigger quantities .

PROS of Lakme Lip Love Lip care  Tinted Lip Balm Peach

1.Twist up plastic bullet packaging ,it has a transparent plastic cover which makes it look cuter .The product looks great in its packaging .

2.Inner balm core and an outer colored ring (in this case Peach in color) a bit like ELLE 18 lipsticks .

3. contains SPF 15

4. Hint of peach colour

CONS of Lakme Lip Love Lip care Tinted Lip Balm Peach

1.The hint of colour remains just that , a very mild hint , so if you are looking for a beautiful peach on your lips or want to hide some pigmentation , you will be disappointed .

2.I think it is slightly more expensive than regular lip balms and that can affect it as a choice for   teenagers

3. It gives some moisture but more like a petroleum  jelly like feel , little sticky .

4. Effect lasts for only one hour on me .

5. It does not repair chapped lips  .

6. Looks better in the tube than on the lips

FINAL VERDICT - The Shraddha Kapoor TV commercial enticed me into buying it and the packaging is also very attractive .But it does not deliver what is promised also needs to reapplied frequently , gives negligible Color on application .So I give it a 3.5/5 .It is good for wearing under the lipsticks .Also I would prefer to have a smalle size in lesser cost , at way we can keep on experimenting with all the variants after some time rather than being stuck up with a single tube forever .
Are you listening #Lakme ?

    1. Thanks Anupam ,heard from you after so long .You can try the cherry/red one which delivers a bit of colour but honestly they are not much moisturizing compared to Maybelline .

  2. I like the color of it and packaging but if it is not up to the mark, why waste our money.
