Welcome Spring - Summer 2016 - Outfit of the Day Post

With Summer in full bloom in my city ,I wanted to get myself  a new summery Kurta ,something that looks cool and keeps me cool too !

With the weather being too hot to venture out and the new Odd-Even restrictions on private vehicles in force, it made sense to shop online in the comfort of my home. So, I set about surfing online at online shopping apps  because with online shopping apps you can shop anywhere, walk through the virtual aisles anytime !
I chose Jabong to shop from .

Why the Jabong App ?

1.Every Shopper number five, shops for free on Jabong App !!!
This was no marketing gimmick as one of my friends had already shopped for free and I wanted to try my luck too .

2. Daily highest spender wins an iphone and one lucky shopper gets a customized Triumph Bike !
Now this one was not a good reason for me but I am sure others would love to try their luck .

3. They have 25% off even on NEW ARRIVALS with NO MINIMUM VALUE  !!!

4. Best of all , they have a  SUMMER STORE section dedicated exclusively to Spring Summer 2016 fashion  which I hoped would make shopping easier.

But shopping for the right candidate was no easy task at all .
Oh ! What an arduous task it turned out to be ! I was searching online for two days straight and still nowhere near to finalising the elusive kurta .

Reason ?

There was a multitude of brands, sizes and colours available  ... at least in thousands !!! And trying to pick one was a hair splitting task which gave me a royal headache .
But the headache was worth taking,as I discovered when very surprisingly my order was delivered within 24 hours with no extra charges !

I ordered an Aurelia Kurta in bottle green and white colour and it  had a straight ,long fit .I teamed it up with a linen palazzo .What I loved about the kurta ,besides the cool colours that were so easy on the eyes ,was the fact that it was made of LIVA fabric .

LIVA fibre has been patented by the Aditya Birla group in 2013 but only recently commercially available .It is an eco-friendly natural cellulose fibre crafted from finest wood pulp and therefore is 100 % biodegradable .The result is amazingly fluid and comfortable ,organic, free-flowing fabrics with unmatched lustre and great drape .

I teamed it with linen palazzos and silver heels .

1. Kurta - Aurelia

2. Palazzos - Marks and Spencer

3. Earrings  - Pantaloons

4. Footwear  - Vansons

Hope you liked my first attempt at an outfit post !
