L’Oreal Paris Youth Code Youth Boosting Cream Night

After having a bad experience with some popular anti-ageing creams specially the day ones , I have given a try to L’Oreal Paris Youth Code Youth Boosting Cream Night and here is my review of this cream ….

    

Price – Rs 1275/- for 50 ml .

Presentation – The packaging is pleasant to the eye .It comes in a bulky  dark blue glass jar with a plastic cap .

PROS of  L ‘Oreal Paris Youth Code Youth Boosting Cream Night

1. Pleasant lavender like smell .
2. Spreads easily .
3. I also like the lavender colour of the cream !
4. I don’t know whether it has anything added for it,but it has a calming effect on me when I apply it.
5. The skin looks hydrated and rested the next morning.
6. Smothens the skin .
7. Did not cause any acne (unlike few common night creams ) despite being oily .
8. In fact it helped in reducing existing acne too .
9 . Pores are less visible after using for one week itself .

CONS of L ‘Oreal Paris Youth Code Youth Boosting Cream Night

1. Expensive
2. Bulky and breakable glass jar so carrying will be a problem .
3.While using in summer , I found it very oily .But in winters I find it balmy and soothing .
4. No detailed ingredient list provided .

FINAL VERDICT – A good night cream all in all .Not very effective in fighting wrinkes (not that I have many !).But does make the face look smoother,moisturised and calmer and also reduces acne and acne scars .
Can be greasy for summers but perfect for winters .
