My Airtel App Experience

In this digital age , owning a smartphone and a broadband connection is more of a necessity rather than being an indulgence .But when it comes to paying the bills , it becomes a pain to individually visit all the different websites and make the payments .So I was more than happy when Airtel announced that it is launching its Airtel App for customers of its DTH, Broadband, Prepaid and postpaid services .This App would ensure that a customer gets facilitated by paying all his bills in one place be it his broadband bills, DTH bill or his phone bills .Isn’t that so amazing ?

But wait, that’s not all .They have added some more features in the Airtel App to make it even more lucrative for its customers. I am going to share with you the ones which are making my heart go “Sha-La–La-La-La”.

1. AIRTEL surprise coupons – With every recharge ,whatever be its value ,you will get surprise coupons for various categories like shopping, food, wellness, entertainment etc .They will be redeemable across popular brands like PVR Cinemas, Café Coffee Day, Flipkart.com , amazon.in, Ebay.in, Myntra.com, Archies, VLCC, among others.

Yay!!!

So While I recharge my phone ,I may also get a complimentary coffee for myself !

2. Save Time – You can add shortcuts of tasks to be done through the App like bill payments , recharge ,check recharge history , get value packs,check out the amount of data consumed so far etc. Once your regular tasks are saved on your home screen, making the payments and checking out various schemes is so much less time consuming and easy .
The card details can be stored online for a faster checkout .Also they are offering real time bill tracking facility .So now you can track each and every cent and byte of yours !

I have an Airtel WiFi connection and an Airtel post paid connection .Now I am adding the Airtel DTH to it because when all three services are on my home screen ,it will be far easier for me to monitor the bills and services offered .One can drop an online request for any particular Airtel service too whenever needed .

3.Add ons – This one is for my dear Husband ,who happens to be a music lover.One can explore the Music App Wynk with the Airtel App .Wynk has more than 1.8 million songs ranging from Rehman to Rihanna ,that means it has an exhaustive menu to choose from for every kind of music lover .One can enjoy ads free music ,which is also 100% safe to download . One can stream and download songs selected by genres, moods, artists or even tune into any one of the many Radio channels on offer !

With the airtel App come bonus services like Airtel one touch internet which is basically Airtel’s Portal offering free internet trials for facebook, whatsapp, youtube, twitter etc. for pre-paid customers only.

Another add on which is a boon for busy (or absent minded )people like me from Airtel is to send alerts that make sure that your bill payments are on time as even before your balance starts to thin out ,you will start getting reminders and alerts about low balance, low data and due dates thus ensuring that your connection stays intact and you enjoy continuous break free services .
