Wow, your way of writing this blog is just superb. While reading about each place I noticed that you have added flavorful touch to the description of each place and its speciality without a miss.
Saving this for my Delhi visit, thanks for detailed insights!!
Thank you for the information. Very vivid descriptions. I would like to visit the Rose cafe as I love old – world charm.
Being from Delhi and also that I visit Delhi 2-3 times in a year, I always prefer the old tucked lanes than the cafes but The Grammar Room, Mehrauli looks a place worth visit.
True, these bylanes hide treasure troves of delicious traditional food. Thanks you for sharing your choice Romila.
Maybe we would do to Dramz for the view and the night sky. Otherwise, we prefer going for a couples massage rather than to a restaurant to spend time together. We both love different types of food. Heehee!
The Grammar Room looks and sounds wonderful! However, all five restaurants seem to have a charm of their own, Thank you, Preeti, for offering us a choice here! 🙂
All of them are inviting! My preferred choice ummm— Dramz for the night view of Qutub Minar. Interesting places.
Delhi has quite many places for love to flourish while having a great lunch. Thanks for highlighting some of them and that too in places all too familiar to me. I lived near Mehrauli for 14 years.
Thank you for the lovely summation. Will try them surely when I visit Delhi.
Aha… that’s something different to read, this lovey dovey month of February. I am sharing this list with my hubby and let me ask him where he wants to take me for a valentine day date this time and that too with the baby. But if you ask me, Diggin will be my choice.
Our next holiday destinations will be Delhi. I like your suggestion specially because the way you describe the place I have to check at least one of them. I wish I stay in Delhi to have experience this beautiful caffe.

Delhi’s romantic eateries are truly a gem! Personally, I’d choose The Grammar Room for its vintage charm and diverse menu, creating a perfect setting for a delightful date with my husband.
Dilli is always dil walon ki. I lived and fell in love in Delhi but unfortunately didn’t have these interesting places to hang out. Glad to know of the cosy places where you can eat, Love and have a great time.
Great list! Bookmarking it to keep it handy when I’m no longer single on Valentine’s day. Though I hope these cafes remain open till that happens! 🫣

These are relatively new establishments Aunty so you may not have visited them in recent times.
I don’t know if I would take anyone out on a date in Delhi but i would like to visit these cafes if I am in the capital city some day and take myself on a date!
Love your positive approach
This is not fair, Preeti 🙂 Now I feel like flying to Delhi and visiting all the romantic cafes you have listed out but I don’t even have a date 🙁
That looks like a good list – haven’t been to any of these. Adding to my list of potential places for the next Delhi visit.
I’ve never been to Rose Cafe in Saket, but the vintage romance vibes and European and Italian delicacies sound lovely for a romantic date. The ambiance seems charming and inviting, making it a great choice for spending quality time with my partner.
