Hope you are all doing great .
Today I am going to write about online shopping .
Call me conservative if you would but I still believe in shopping the old way when you could feel the fabric, try it on and then make up your mind and pay the bill .My husband introduced me to online shopping , probably he was getting weary of waiting outside the shops , lugging the shopping bags around .;)
To cut a long story short I decided to try my hand at online shopping but still playing it safe I thought I will stick to dependable brands and preferably will not buy anything where I felt I was doubtful about the sizes or fabric /metal etc .
So I ordered what else … but makeup .

I placed the order online by logging onto there website here on 6th September 2014 .I received a confirmation mail within 2 minutes of placing my order .Then I received an SMS confirming my order and giving an estimated time of delivery .I received a tracking number and a link to track my order online .This is the period I really hate , so much anticipation .Will I get what I ordered ?What if it is damaged or not what I ordered ?How long till I get my parcel ?You just keep twiddling your thumbs in eternal waiting .

But Believe you me , I received my order the very next day even though they had said it may take 3-4 days !And I received the order on a Sunday ! Yay !!!

I will now summarise my experience with Jabong.com
The THUMBS UP points are
• A mind boggling range for all .Can you believe that they have 37459 items of clothing only for women !!! And I have only mentioned general clothing for women .
• The website is very easy to navigate , I have inserted a screen shot here and you can see how neatly everything is categorised .You can also directly type in the search box provided at the top .

- They are offering Rs 1500 “Welcome vouchers “on registering with jabong.com . 10% discount voucher can be used once on a purchase of Rs. 1000 or more for a maximum discount value of Rs. 500
- 20% discount voucher can be used once on a purchase of Rs. 2000 or more for a maximum discount value of Rs. 1000
- Multiiple payment options like net banking , debit card , credit card and even Cash on delivery ( you can pay after you receive your goods,So if you are not so net savvy or do not have net banking then this is a good option for you ).
• You can send the goods back if you suspect they are damaged !
• They also have a proper policy of cancellations and return of any order .
• 24X 7 call centre so you can contact them anytime.
• Jabong.com provides the facility of tracking your order online (good for impatient customers like me ).
• Reward points are given everytime you shop , these can then be redeemed for your next purchase .
• If you are not at home to receive your order then a second attempt is made to deliver your order within 24 hours .

Now I am going to list the THUMBS DOWN points
• Shipping charges extra on some products (Rs 99 /- in my case )
• Cash- on- delivery- convenience charges are extra (Rs 39 /- in my case ).
Final Verdict –I can say that after this experience I have become a convert to online shopping and I plan to use my Rs 1500 welcome vouchers soon enough .There were some really good Kurtis on Jabong.com which I was eyeing and I am going to grab them soon .I will rate them a 5/5 .
Do go through the terms and conditions well before placing an order , also read their returns and cancellation policy thoroughly .
