The title of the book Ram C/O Anandhi on the cover page has the C/O encapsulated in a pink heart which gives away the theme of romance but that is all you get from the cover page.

Its English translation allows a broader audience to experience its depth and emotional resonance.While non -Malayali or Tamil readers may find it slightly tough to read it because of the plentiful Malayali and Tamil references, the novel’s exploration of universal themes makes it appealing across cultures and demographics. There is also a glossary but I feel it would have been more useful as a footnote. Who wants to keep going back and forth while reading a book to look up a certain word!
